WMA have been committed to creating sustainable and innovative solutions and our decisions were always based on environmentally-friendly practices.
In addition to delivering outstanding wastewater improvements for long-term benefit, the Alliance's main priorities were to:
- inform, educate and engage residents about the infrastructure upgrades
- build community confidence and understanding of Council's wastewater management initiatives and the need for improvements
- deliver innovative and outstanding water recycling opportunities with minimal impact on the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
The Alliance values ensured the team operated within a "can do" working culture, exercised open and honest communication, showed respect and commitment to deliver the job and be supportive of various roles and responsibilities of team members.
